Rescuing animals in need is at the heart of everything we do. Many of the dogs who come into our care require time with trainers or boarders, veterinary treatment, and long-distance transport — sometimes over 1,000 miles to reach safety. Because of our donors and sponsors, we’re able to say yes to WONDERFUL animals who are struggling to find a home at no fault of their own. They are shy dogs, large breeds, and stray animals facing the toughest odds.
When you sponsor an animal, you’ll receive an email with their rescue story, so that you can learn more about the life you helped change.

FOSTER
We work closely with our foster families to match them with animals that fit their home and lifestyle. START Rescue covers all costs — including care, supplies, food, and veterinary needs — and we’re happy to work with you around schedules and vacations, too.
