The clinic would cover: 60+ surgeries/day = 12,000 SPAY & NEUTER SURGERIES per year
Approximately 79$ per surgery (some vet offices are charging over 600 for a single surgery!)
Includes vaccines to keep animals in the community healthy.
Open 4 days per week!

Bakersfield Strays Coalition

Bakersfield Strays is a collaboration of individuals

and rescue groups working to put a stop to the endless abandonment of dogs in the Bakersfield, California area.

Partner with us

We need partners who can offer:

A place to rescue-board or foster dogs.
Rescue groups that can help by taking a dog or two.
Veterinarians who can provide medical care.

Donate

Donations are needed to help cover the high cost of rescue. Each dog tends to cost AT LEAST $500, just for medical treatments alone.

Many of these dogs are emaciated, covered in ticks, dehydrated, and pregnant, and have other exposure issues. Plus there is the cost to feed, pay for the low-cost rescue-boarding daily, transport, and more. Every bit helps!
