BAKERSFIELD STRAYS Coalition

​

The Bakersfield Strays Coalition is working to prevent the dumping of dogs in Bakersfield, CA, through aggressive media and community outreach, building partnerships, and everyday boots-on-the-ground rescue efforts.

SPAY & NEUTER in underserved communities

START provides spay and neuter services in low-income communities, giving families the support they need while protecting animals from the suffering and needless deaths caused by overcrowded shelters and life on the streets.

START SHELTER ALLIANCE Program

START works with overflowing / euthanizing shelters to improve the welfare of animals and save lives, prioritizing initiatives that we believe will have the greatest impact on animals at any given time.
